Helping Kids at the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills!

It was just announced that the Reindeer Fun Run last November raised $27,000 for the Boys and Girls Club of the Sandhills! Congrats to all of the people and DOGS who ran and supported this great cause.
The Boys and Girls Club is a great place for kids from 5 to 18 years old to go from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. on school days. They play games and sports and even have drug prevention programs. They also work on study skills, leadership, self-esteem, good health and social responsibility.
Doing all of this isn’t cheap. The cost for the Boys and Girls Club is $500 a year for each child. That is a lot of dog treats. The great thing for the kids is that it only cost them $5. So, a big Sascha “bark out” to all of you who help make this great program possible for the kids around here.

Would you like to move here and help these kids too? Call my Dad, Allan Nanney, at 910-528-1181 begin_of_the_skype_highlighting            910-528-1181      end_of_the_skype_highlighting or visit his website http://www.YourPinehurstHome.com

Meet My Heroes!

My Heroes!

This is a picture of my heroes, Sirius and Shadow. Their Dad, Gerry Capstaff, is also a hero! He is in the Army National Guard, a Military Policeman, and he is a Certified Firefighter and EMT. Wow and thank you Gerry!!
I bet you wonder why Sirius and Shadow are my heroes. When Gerry goes off to protect everyone in America in places like Afghanistan, Sirius and Shadow don’t have time to lay around on the couch, they have a job to do! They protect their mom, Brittney.
They protect Brittney in their new home that they found with the help of Homes for Heroes. If you have a hero in your life, have them check out http://www.HomesForHeroes.com!

I’m Back…..

It has been a long time since I chatted with al of my friends.  I apologize.  Mom and Dad have been very busy with Homes for Heroes and haven’t been typing for me.  But yesterday they met with their friends at Tangram Media and everyone decided it would be a great idea for me to start strolling with all of you again.

Tangram is a great group and just like a Tangram puzzle that has over 6500 possibilities, Jeremy, Jamie and Sven look at your business and come up with lots of possibilities to help you become more efficient.  I haven’t met them but want to give a BIG Facebook Thank You to all of them.

I have so many things to catch you up on so stay tuned!!!

Glad to be back,

Sascha

USS North Carolina Battleship

USS North CarolinaWe live in a great country, and part of our history is just two hours away in Wilmington, NC. The USS North Carolina was commissioned 50 years ago in 1941 and was home to 2300 sailors. That sure is a lot of people to scratch behind my ears! This ship is now 50 years old and yours to enjoy right on the Cape Fear River. So, if you are tired of the beach and want to experience a part of history be sure to check it out!

And if you would like to live in a place that has so many great places to visit give my Dad, Allan Nanney, a call at 910-528-1181 and check out his website at www.YourPinehurstHome.com .

Holden Beach, North Carolina

Holden Beach

A Great Day at The Beach

Summertime is here and it sure has been hot, especially in this fur coat. But another great thing about living here is that you can just hop in the car and in two hours be at Holden Beach. The ocean breeze feels great and the water temperatures are in the 80’s! Playing in the waves is a whole lot better than playing with the hose in the back yard.

And before you head home stop at Provision Company for the best shrimp burger you have ever had.

If you want to live in golf heaven and this close to the ocean give my Dad, Allan Nanney, a call at 910-528-1181 and visit his website at www.YourPinehurstHome.com .

Take Your Dog To Work Day

Dog Biscuits

My Office Stash

It is Take Your Dog to Work Day!!! Keller Williams in Fayetteville, NC is letting everyone bring their dog to work today.

For some dogs this is a big deal but for me it is every day. I’m one of the lucky dogs who has a Mom and Dad that work from home. I go to the office with them every single day. The picture is my stash at the office. I know it is kept in a special spot because it is right under Dad’s pictures of Coach Dean Smith. Coach Dean was so cool they even named the entire basketball arena after him.

If you are in Fayetteville today, be sure to stop at the Keller Williams office. They are having a hot dog roast to raise money for the Fayetteville Animal Protection Society and The Haven-Friends for Life. So please stop by and fill your belly and help a dog out! Weird that you are eating a hot “dog” to help a dog, isn’t it.

And if your office isn’t nice enough to let you take your dog to work today, then be sure to bring them home a stash of Milkbones and take an extra minute to scratch their belly. We love this.

It’s My Birthday!

Puppy

When I Was A Baby

I am offically one! It’s hard to believe I was once this tiny. It’s times like this that I really wish I had thumbs. If I did, I know exactly the birthday party I would want. Edward and Dana Gainer are the owners of Rolling Video Games, it is a mobile video game theater. What a great time I would have with all my friends.

This is just one of the great things kids can have fun with when they live here. If you would like to move to the Pinehurst Southern Pines area and have great things like this for your kids to enjoy, give my Dad, Allan Nanney, a call at 910-528-1181 and check out his website at www.YourPinehurstHome.com .

Dog Nation

Dog Nation

Enjoy the Day!

I love the name of this place, funny that there are no dogs here. Today is a beautiful day to stop in and have a quick burger or hot dog with the hand cut fries at Dog Nation. If you are tired of being cooped up in your office, take a break and sit outside and relax at Dog Nation in Aberdeen. That’s what Mom and Dad did today while I lounged around here at home. You can find this great spot at 301 North Poplar Street in Aberdeen.

If you think the historic district of Aberdeen might be a place that you would like to live in or near, give my Dad, Allan Nanney, a call at 910-528-1181 and check out his website at www.YourPinehurstHome.com
