My Ride to Carthage, NC in Moore County

Moore County, North Carolina

My First Ride in the Convertible

What a great time I had yesterday! I went for my first car ride with the top down. No need to stick my head out the window! We left here at 5:00 and it was an incredible 75 degrees. What a beautiful October day! We drove to Carthage, North Carolina. That is the county seat here in Moore County.

Did you know that archeologists have traced the Siouan Indians living in Moore County back to the sixth century? That’s a long time when you are only four months old. The first European settlers arrived about 1739. You can read all about the history on my dad’s web page – just click on Moore County.

If you think this is a great place you would like to move to, check him out at or give him a call at 910-528-1181. Oh yeah, his name is Allan Nanney and I love to ride in the convertible with him.
