Mid Pines Golf Club

Mid Pines Golf Club

Fields Filled With People

It was fun to play in the little bit of snow that we got this winter but now that warm weather is here, there are lots of people outside. If you drive around, there are fields full of people waving sticks. I would love to play with them but Dad says they are playing golf and would not appreciate me chasing their balls. I will be telling you about a lot of the different fields full of people and the one in this picture is Mid Pines Golf Club. This is a Donald Ross course that opened in 1921. If you don’t want to leave after you play there, you could eat lunch or dinner or even stay at the Mid Pines Inn.

Dad helped me with some numbers so that you would know how hard it is to play here. I don’t ever think it is hard to play anywhere.

Blue- Yards 6528, Ratings 71.0, Slope 126
White- Yards 6114, Ratings 68.7, Slope 122
Green-Yards 5454, Ratings 65.9, Slope 116
Red- Yards 4921, Ratings 68.8L, Slope 119L

If you would like to move to a wonderful place that you can play golf almost all year long give my Dad, Allan Nanney, a call at 910-528-1181 or check out his website at www.YourPinehurstHome.com. And if you are ever in one of these fields and a dog just happens to show up please be nice, we like to play too!
